Guidelines for Seat Position and Angle
In addition to the height of the seat, its angle and position relative to the front and back of the bicycle can be adjusted to ensure rider comfort. Note that a seat position that is parallel to flat ground is generally recommended. Try to avoid setting the saddle so the nose points noticeably up or down.
Adjusting the Seat Position and Angle
Follow these steps to change the angle and horizontal position of the seat:
- Use a 6 mm Allen wrench (provided) to loosen the seat adjustment bolt. The seat adjustment bolt is located above the rear wheel and underneath the seat. Look for the clamp that is positioned immediately underneath the seat.
- Move the seat backwards or forwards within the guide to adjust its positioning and angle. There are white limit markings on the seat rail, which show the minimum and maximum horizontal movement allowed for this component. Do not exceed these limits.
- While holding the seat in the desired position, use the 6 mm Allen wrench to retighten the seat adjustment bolt to a torque value of 20 Nm.
